CMS Platform Terms

The terms that apply to organisations, administrators and users that access and use the CAQA CMS content management platform.

Section 1: Introduction

These Platform Terms apply to users, administrators and organisations that access CAQA CMS software, portals, dashboards, online systems or hosted environments. Users must keep account details secure, use the platform lawfully, protect confidential information, avoid unauthorised access and comply with any administrator, subscription or acceptable-use requirements. CAQA CMS is part of CAQA Groups and a Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238) initiative. By using this website, or by accessing the CAQA CMS platform under an agreement with us, you agree to these Platform Terms.

Section 2: Who these terms are for

CAQA CMS serves education providers, registered training organisations, higher education institutions, businesses and government bodies that need to manage websites and digital content in a controlled, auditable way, together with the content editors, marketing staff, compliance officers and administrators those organisations nominate. These terms apply to visitors researching the platform on this website and to client organisations and their authorised users once a platform engagement begins.

Section 3: Services offered on this website

This website describes the CAQA CMS content management platform, including structured editing, approval and workflow controls, versioning and rollback, scheduling and expiry, multi-site and brand management, asset and document libraries, policy and compliance content management, and performance and SEO delivery. Through this website you can read about these capabilities, make an enquiry, subscribe to our newsletter and arrange a demonstration or scoping conversation. This website does not provide platform log-in, online ordering or self-service subscription facilities.

Section 4: Content responsibility and client approvals

Clients remain responsible for the content they create, publish and maintain through the platform. This includes the accuracy and currency of published information, the lawfulness of text, images, video and documents, the permissions and licences held for any third-party material, and compliance with the advertising, consumer-protection and regulatory obligations that apply to the client’s own sector. The platform’s workflow and approval tools are designed to support internal review, but final approval and publication decisions rest with the client and its authorised users. CAQA CMS does not pre-review client content and does not accept editorial responsibility for material a client publishes.

Section 5: Administrator access and user accounts

Client administrators control the roles, permissions and access levels of the users within their organisation. Administrators are responsible for granting access only to appropriate personnel, keeping user records accurate, and promptly removing or downgrading access when a person changes role or leaves the organisation. All users must keep their credentials confidential, must not share accounts, and must notify us promptly if they suspect an account has been compromised. We may suspend an account or restrict access where we reasonably believe it presents a security risk to the platform or to other clients.

Section 6: Third-party plugins and integrations

The platform may support third-party plugins, embedded services and integrations, such as analytics tools, media players, forms or search services. Third-party components are governed by their own terms and privacy arrangements, and their performance, availability and security cannot be guaranteed by CAQA CMS. Changes made by a third-party provider may affect features that rely on that provider. Clients should confirm that they hold appropriate licences for any third-party components they ask us to enable and should review integrations before relying on them for critical functions.

Section 7: Backups, security updates and uptime

Scheduled backups, security patching and platform updates are applied as part of the managed arrangements described in our Website Hosting and Support Terms. We take reasonable steps to keep the platform available and secure, including monitoring and planned maintenance windows, and we aim to give advance notice of scheduled maintenance where practicable. Like any online service, however, the platform is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free, and any availability targets that apply to your organisation are those set out in your written agreement.

Section 8: Information collected through this website

When you make an enquiry, subscribe to updates or contact us through this website, we collect information such as your name, organisation, email address, phone number and the details of your message so that we can respond to you. We also use cookies and analytics tools to understand how the website is used. This information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Information stored inside a client’s platform environment is addressed in our Data and Security Notice and in the client’s agreement.

Section 9: Payment model

No payments are taken through this website. Platform subscriptions, implementation services, hosting and support are quoted and agreed under a separate written proposal, service agreement or subscription agreement, which sets out the fees, billing frequency, renewal, suspension, cancellation and any applicable refund position. Because this website does not process payments, no refund or cancellation terms apply to the use of the website itself.

Section 10: Limits of advice

The information on this website is general product and service information only. It is not legal, compliance, regulatory, financial or professional advice, and it does not take account of your organisation’s specific circumstances. You should assess the suitability of the platform for your own requirements and seek professional advice where your website content carries legal or regulatory obligations.

Section 11: Contact

If you have questions about this page, contact us by email at info@caqa.com.au, by phone on 1800 266 160, or through our contact page. We aim to respond to enquiries within a reasonable time during business hours, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm (Melbourne time).
