The standards of conduct expected of visitors to this website and of users of the CAQA CMS platform.
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to CAQA CMS, part of CAQA Groups and a Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238) initiative. It sets out the standards of conduct expected of visitors who use this website and of the organisations, administrators and editors who use the CAQA CMS content management platform under an agreement with us. The policy exists to keep the website and platform safe, reliable and lawful for every visitor and every client.
This policy applies to visitors browsing this website, making enquiries or subscribing to updates, and to client organisations and every administrator, editor, contractor or other user they authorise to access the CAQA CMS platform. Clients are responsible for making sure the people they authorise understand and follow this policy.
The website and platform must be used lawfully, respectfully and only for their intended purposes: researching and enquiring about our services, and creating, managing and publishing website content for the client’s own organisation. Use must comply with applicable Australian law, including privacy, copyright, consumer-protection, anti-discrimination and electronic-messaging legislation.
You must not use this website or the CAQA CMS platform to: publish, upload or distribute material that is unlawful, defamatory, misleading, discriminatory, obscene or infringing of another person’s intellectual-property rights; upload or transmit viruses, malware or other harmful code; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account or data, or carry out probing, scanning or security testing without our prior written permission; share log-in credentials or circumvent role and permission controls; interfere with, overload or disrupt the platform, its hosting or other clients’ websites; scrape or harvest content or data at a scale that disrupts the service or contrary to law; misrepresent your identity or affiliation; send spam or unsolicited commercial messages contrary to the Spam Act 2003 (Cth); or remove copyright, attribution or provenance notices from content or assets.
Clients publishing through the platform must hold the rights or licences needed for the text, images, video, documents and fonts they publish; must ensure claims made on their websites are accurate and not misleading; must meet the marketing and disclosure obligations of their own sector, such as the advertising requirements that apply to education and training providers; and must have appropriate consent before publishing personal information or images of identifiable individuals.
All users must keep credentials confidential, use accounts assigned to them personally, log out of shared devices, and report suspected compromise, phishing or vulnerabilities to us promptly. Good-faith reports of security concerns are welcome; unauthorised testing of our systems is not.
Where this policy is breached we may, acting reasonably and depending on the severity: warn the user or client; suspend or restrict accounts; remove or disable access to offending content; terminate access in accordance with the relevant agreement; recover reasonable costs arising from the misuse; and report suspected unlawful activity to law-enforcement or regulatory authorities. Where practicable we will contact the client and seek to resolve an issue before acting, but we may act immediately where there is a security, legal or safety risk.
If you believe content published through the CAQA CMS platform, or conduct on this website, breaches this policy, please tell us. Reports are reviewed promptly, and we will take the action we consider appropriate under this policy and the relevant agreement.
Reports, enquiries and subscriptions submitted through this website collect your name, contact details and message, and are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. No payments are taken through this website; platform subscriptions and services are arranged under separate written agreements, so no refund or cancellation terms apply to the use of this website itself.
This policy is general information about acceptable conduct. It is not legal advice, and it does not limit or replace the terms of any written agreement between us and a client. If this policy and a signed agreement are inconsistent, the agreement prevails.
